Markers

WebWorks markers allow you to control online functionalities in your ePublisher output targets, such as file names, topic ID’s for creating context-sensitive help, accessibility, drop-down text, pop-up text, and See Also links.

TopicAlias Markers

For creating context-sensitive help, ePublisher uses topic IDs as the identifier, in the form of TopicAlias markers, to create the bridge between the application and the Help system.

To embed topic IDs in a Word document:

1.	Place the insertion point at the beginning of the topic or paragraph.

2.	Go to WebWorks > Insert TopicAlias marker...

3.	Place the topic ID in the available field.

5.	Save the document (s).
