The Log Window
The Log Window identifies where errors occur when generating output or reports. Every time you generate output or conformance reports, the Log Window displays the status of the generation process. It logs which pipelines are being processed; settings are being applied; and files are being parsed.
Any time you generate output or reports, ePublisher Express creates an external log file. If you need to submit support requests, you can send this log file to the support team at Quadralay. The log is named generate.log.

To view the Log Window:

In ePublisher Express, select View > Log Window. |
To view the log file:

Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\ePublisher Express Projects\PROJECTNAME\Logs\FORMAT, where USERNAME is the name you use to sign onto your computer, PROJECTNAME is the name of your ePublisher Express project, and FORMAT represents the target format that you are using. The log will be called generate.log. |
To save a text file of the log:
